The post-graduate qualification was accredited by the DMS Committee of the DES. It originally required either one year full time or 3 years part-time study, and was arranged in two discrete sections: Part A and Part B. It was compulsory to pass the Part A examinations and assessment first before being allowed to take Part B. Part B consisted of the final examinations and a project dissertation. Overall the marks achieved in coursework, examinations and the final dissertation had to exceed a weighted threshold for the candidate to pass and be awarded a DMS. It was thus quite an intensive course with a large workload.
PGDM (Dual Specialization)
2 Years full time, AICTE approved program) – 120 Seats
PGDM is two years full time programme spread across six trimesters that has been designed, planned and delivered to meet ever changing business requirements. The pedagogy includes live projects, case studies, individual and group projects, presentations, role-plays, simulations etc. Apart from regular academic inputs, industrial visits, outbound programs and educational trips are also organized to impart holistic knowledge to the budding managers. A special module on foreign language has also been designed to make our students capable to survive and sustain in extremely competitive global scenario. The students are provided with ample opportunities to develop analytical and problem solving capabilities.
